    The Volunteers of America / Annie E. Casey Foundation partnership has been in place for over a decade. The Foundation has been the primary supporter of the Look Up and Hope project, Volunteers of America’s work with children of incarcerated mothers. They continue to support our two-generation work and our commitment to evidence-based practice.

    Capital One Financial Corporation, headquartered in McLean, Va., is a Fortune 500 company offering a broad spectrum of financial products and services to consumers, small businesses and commercial clients. Capital One recognizes the need for quality, safe, affordable housing and the role that housing plays in neighborhood revitalization and economic recovery. Volunteers of America is one of the nation's leading housing organizations to receive $5 million in grants from Capital One Financial Corporation and the Capital One Foundation. The grants will help the organizations provide critical education and counseling services for homeowners and affordable housing residents in need.

    Through their award-winning advertising programs, businesses provide financial support for critical, yet underfunded, education, wellness, veterans, and environmental initiatives. EcoMedia, a division of CBS, has turned the advertising landscape into a catalyst for tangible social change. Volunteers of America works with EcoMedia on a variety of projects to improve quality of life in communities across the country.

  • The Home Depot

    Volunteers of America is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations addressing veterans' needs. Nationally, it serves more than 40,000 homeless veterans each year in programs nationwide. Since 2011, The Home Depot Foundation has given nearly $10 million to Volunteers of America to improve housing solutions for homeless veterans and their families. In addition, Team Depot, The Home Depot’s associate-led volunteer force, has completed countless projects in partnership with Volunteers of America affiliates across the country. Together, we have been able to refurbish or build housing for more than 2,500 homeless veterans and many of their family members.

    HSBC, one of the world's largest banking and financial services organizations, has been connecting people to global opportunities since 1865. HSBC Bank USA has partnered with a number of nonprofit organizations to deliver programs that focus on education, community development and the environment. Through a mix of financial giving and employee volunteerism, HSBC Bank USA contributes to and works well with organizations that align with their goals. Their generous support has been invaluable in helping Volunteers of America move forward on expanding and enhancing the services we provide to veterans. With their help, we have launched a multi-year initiative to expand wraparound services for veterans, especially vulnerable veterans in targeted high-risk, high-need communities.

  • Juice Plus+

    Juice Plus+ ® has been a strong supporter of Volunteers of America since 1988. The generosity of Juice Plus+ and their employees helps deliver community programs that address today's most pressing social needs, from hunger to housing. We are grateful Juice Plus+ recently announced a goal to expand its philanthropic initiative through a commitment to donate 10 million Complete Shake Meals to nourish men, women and children across the country. This new commitment includes donations to 17 different affiliates. We are proud to partner with Juice Plus+ to serve America's most vulnerable.

  • Major League Baseball Players Trust

    The Major League Baseball Players Trust and Volunteers of America work together to benefit people in need and encourage others to get involved to help children, at-risk youth and families. The partnership has resulted in a youth volunteer initiative in which players lead local Action Teams whose mission is to inspire high school students to become volunteers in their communities.

  • Niagara Bottling

    Family owned and operated since 1963, Niagara Bottling is the largest private label bottled water supplier in the United States. Niagara Bottling and their philanthropic division, Niagara Cares, is committed to supporting local and national community initiatives by engaging stakeholders and investing its resources for vulnerable children and their families. Volunteers of America is working with Niagara Bottling to fund key improvements in our children and youth programs in their local communities.

    Scholastic, the global children’s publishing, education and media company, has partnered with Volunteers of America since 1999. Through the Scholastic Possible Fund, high-quality reading materials are provided to the nation's neediest young people. Volunteers of America local offices distribute large quantities of free Scholastic books in their programs and in their communities each year. Over seven million books have been donated to date in over 35 states. Scholastic’s goal is to ensure that each of its book donations has a significant impact on fostering literacy. Volunteers of America shares this goal by providing access to books for the children and families we serve and encouraging a love of reading. This and other programs, like Words Travel, exemplifies Scholastic and Volunteers of America’s commitment to enhancing the lives of children and families.
